Brütal Legend, das neueste Third-Person-Action-Spiel von Double Fine Productions, vereint die legendärsten Metalbands zu einem der brütalsten Soundtracks der Spielegeschichte. Das Abenteuer um den Roadie Eddie Riggs, gespielt von Jack Black, wird von über 100 Songs von 75 Bands wie Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Megadeth und Motörhead begleitet.

"Wir haben seit Jahren an der Zusammenstellung dieses Soundtracks gefeilt - unser Ziel war es, sämtliche Metal-Genres zu featuren und für jeden epischen Moment im Spiel die perfekte Musik zu haben", kommentiert Tim Schafer, President von Double Fine Productions. "Metal-Fans werden das Spiel lieben, und alle Nicht-Metal-Fans wird es entweder bekehren oder ihnen den Schädel sprengen ... oder beides."

Brütal Legend ist ein vom visionären Developer Tim Schafer entwickeltes episches Action-Game mit Jack Black in der Hauptrolle als Roadie-Legende Eddie Riggs. Eddie wird in eine mystische Heavy Metal-Welt versetzt, in der Berge aus Verstärkern bestehen, Gitarrensaiten von Killerspinnen gesponnen werden und an jeder Ecke eine Rocklegende lauert. Eddie muss mit seiner Streitaxt Schlachten überstehen, mit seinem Hot Rod eine Schneise der Verwüstung schlagen, die Allmacht des Rock entfesseln und Feuer vom Himmel regnen lassen - um die Menschheit zu retten. Und natürlich, um zur brütalen Legende zu werden.

Brütal Legend erscheint am 15. Oktober für Xbox 360 und PlayStation 3.
