HELL's "Human Remains" is the devil's new favourite Heavy Metal album HARD ROCKER (PL) / Bart Gabriel

Hell never got the credit they deserved in the mid-80s, when they were clearly one of the freshest and most exciting metal bands around. So many others down the years owe a lot to their influence, even if they never knew it. What they've done with this album is prove how good the songs were, and in a modern setting they've come up with a style and sound that eclipses most of what we hear and praise. This will be one of the landmark metal albums of the second decade of the 21st century. It is true metal and stunning. METAL HAMMER + TOTALROCK / Malcom Dome (UK)

"I expected a good album from what I had heard before - but not such a metal masterpiece! It fits perfectly between its instantly identifiable NWoBHM roots and more modern, but always classic heavy metal. Goosebumps all over! Goetz Kühnemund / Rock Hard Germany

The reinterpretation of this classic by three-quarters of the original cast as well as guitarist and producer extraordinaire Andy Sneap with new singer David Bower is the first sensation of 2011. Really every track on "Human Remains" might come from another band, and still has the album as a homogeneous piece of art. 13 of 15 Points CW / Legacy Germany

"The great lost NWOBHM album. 24 years in the making, Hell has finally been unleashed!" Ian Webster / Terrorizer UK

"This record signifies that after all these years it is time for Hell to be unleashed and triumph over all the obstacles they have had to overcome." Matt Dawson / sonicshocks.com

Better Late Than Never. Why this band got so shamefully overlocked in the 80ties? The combination of powerful riffs, the beats and the addicting melodies ends up in a glory master piece. Fans of the NWOBHM can`t pass this dream of a album. Fans should be aware that they have bought a piece of music history. 9 of 10 points Gerhard "Hartl" Grill/ Classic Rock Germany

"Intense, fervently progressive and bulging with dark, melodic potency, it matches the best of vintage Maiden, Priest and Mercyful Fate while sounding thrillingly contemporary..." Dom Lawson / Metal Hammer UK 9/10

Great album and great story. Criminally overlooked during the 1980s, Hell would have remained consigned to history but reconvening could have tarnished their "cult" status. However, care has been taken by Andy Sneap to ensure the Hell classics, unknown to most, have been treated with respect. At the same time, those unaware of the history could be forgiven for thinking this a new band with new material as these songs stand up today. Right from the opening twin guitar play of On Earth As It Is In Hell this is an album that grabs your attention. Dave / RockersDigest.com

HELL "On Earth As It Is In Hell " VIDEO OF THE WEEK As a teaser towards what is possibly the album of the year, we are pleased to showcase the video for 'On Earth As It Is In Hell' from the the forthcoming 'Human Remains'. The video is a bombastic full on metal assault. Going to be running most of the recent release over the weekend and plugging Hell with a little teaser we've been working on. Album of the year so far and I think it will be pretty hard to beat. Dawn Of The Deaf UK

Put bluntly, this is one of the best metal albums you will hear this, or any other, year. As musical reference points, you'll hear a lot of Maiden and Priest, alongside European influences like Mercyful Fate, but there is also a stylistic undercurrent of thrash, death and even black metal, particularly in some of the occult-inspired lyrics and satanic imagery. Each and every track could be singled out for individual praise as there are genuinely no weak links. Grandiose, dramatic and intriguing from beginning to end. Honestly, we could sing the praises of "Human Remains" all night, but if you've ever strapped on an air-guitar in anger, this record needs to be in your collection the minute it hits the shelves. 25 years in the making and worth every second of the wait; this is essential. This band for me I thought was a new band, however I was wrong, this band actually have been around since the 80's. After hearing this album I think it is an incredible album which reminds me a lot of Mercyful Fate, so if like me you haven't heard Hell before then I would best describe their music close to that of Mercyful Fate, Accept, Trouble. It's almost like King Diamond or Geddy Lee of Rush singing on this album. A great album that grows on you after just a few listens. Buy this decent album!!! Friday 13th UK
