So nächster Fehler, schon passiert: PMs stehen ewig im Postausgang bevor sie versendet werden... (-.

seh ich nicht ganz so. der postausgang ist nicht zu verwechseln mit dem postausgang bei email-proggis.

Ausgehende Nachrichten bleiben dort solange stehen bis sie gelöscht werden...

Bei manchen Subseiten des Forums ist der Body zu gross. Deshalb sieht es so aus als würde der Kopf der Seite kleiner sein, siehe diesen Thread oben oder http://www.grdb.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=10

Jo, das stimmt. Ich werde nicht nur aus diesem Grund in Kürze die Seite verbreitern. Bisher waren es 782 Pixel. In Kürze werden es deutlich mehr sein. Wiviel genau, weiß ich auch noch nicht, aber genug um solche Darstellungsfehler zu vermeiden und auch genug um links ein Menü á la GRDB zu platzieren.

hmm, sorry wenn ich frag, aber warum löst du das ganze nich mit ner dynamischen Tabelle, also Prozentuale Breite von 80% oder so und css min-width: 800px; um eine minimale Breite von 800 Pixeln zu gewähreisten? Wär find ich auch ne möglichkeit..

Meine Arbeitsweise war bisher ausgerichtet nach dem Bild oder dem Flash oben in der Seite. Dieses Bild war auch gleichzeitig die Maßangabe für alle GRDB-Subseiten.

Absolute Breiten sind mir in der Regel lieber, als relative Angaben, da ich die Größe gerne kontrolliere und persönlich keinen Wert darauf lege, was passiert wenn jemand sein Browserfenster verkleinert. Ich gehe bei meinen Entwicklungen also immer davon aus, dass der Besucher die Seite im Vollbild sehen will...

ich machs eigentlich auch nicht anders.. allerdings hat man mit festen layouts ein paar kleine nachteile. vergrösserst du etwa den schrifttext im Browser werden die festen vorgaben relativ schnell gesprengt ...

Schon, aber diese sog. barrierefreien Seiten stehen bei mir noch etwas hinten an. Im Moment behandel ich einfach nur den "Normalfall".

Nichtsdestotrotz wird es wohl auch in absehbarer Zeit auch eine Diskussion um die Barrierefreiheit geben.

Das gefühl hab ich auch. Hab gerade in dem Moment den Newsletter verschickt, aber das sollte eigentlich kein Grund sein für die Datenbank auszusteigen (25 Users per Time).
